    Pros

    The pay rate and hours of operation. Great leadership and freedom to create displays based on the season with general guidelines to follow.

    Cons

    Customer base can be very difficult to handle some locations. Benefits and incentives are severely lacking for both part time and full time employees which makes retention an opportunity.

    Advice to Management

    Provide more for your employees and you will gain a loyal knowledgeable workforce.

    Diversity and inclusion are just outstanding , I personally feel very self motivated and self inspired with so many opportunities

    Everyone is very helpful and supportive , there are no opportunities, I think in 2017 we should focus on developing talent

    poor leadership, no communication from RVP & above, no communication across boundaries, no support from RVP & above leadership.

    Pros

    Autonomy to impact sales based on your customer and her needs. Great growth and stability. A company that leads by its core values and invests in giving back to local communities.

    Cons

    Payroll is very tight, the stores run very lean. A lot of time spent on facility management and IT issues.

    Advice to Management

    The company is focused on diversity and inclusion, and helping everyone to excel. Its a great growth environment focused on teams win.

    I have been working at Burlington Stores full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The work life balance that Burlington is unlike any other retailer I have worked for.
    They give you 5 additional days off paid just for working extra during the holiday season.
    The ability to transfer from one location is very simple and they do their best to make it happen as quickly as possible.

    Cons

    There is not enough communication from upper management and when it does come down its last minute.

    Advice to Management

    Go in every day with an open mind and turn on your creative juices. As long as you are within the company standards you have the ability to flex and expand your store based off of product ownership not a set planogram.
