    NO WORK LIFE BALANCE DISORGANIZED UPPER MANAGEMENT Far behind in retail organization from leadership to basic equipment and certain processes

    Advice to Management

    Be very very honest upfront with company short comings. Give managment two days of during holiday season for better worklife balance. Care about your assistant managers growth and development because they are your future leaders. Give assistant manager bonus as well as they are really the ones putting in the hard work and deserve additional compensation.

    Lots of growth. I was promoted 2 1/2 years ago!

    Lack of relocation/ mobility could slow down your growth. But as fast as they’re growing it might not, at all.

    The salary and the discounts.

    Burlington does not pay associates well which results in unqualified workers.

    Advice to Management

    Respect and understanding for all assocoates and managers that work hard under unrealistic expectations. Give the stores the tools and payroll needed to achieve the customer service that is demanded of GMs.

    Everything... from payroll cuts to make quarterly earnings, to low -starting non-competive retail wages they offer associates for their very hard work and mixed messages from regional team as priorities shift daily, even hourly, on a whim.

    Take note of what competitors offer to truly practice what you preach about being a "caring" company.
