I worked at Burlington Stores full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    The salary and the discounts.

    Cons

Burlington does not pay associates well which results in unqualified workers.

    Advice to Management

Respect and understanding for all assocoates and managers that work hard under unrealistic expectations. Give the stores the tools and payroll needed to achieve the customer service that is demanded of GMs.

I worked at Burlington Stores full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    The team I worked with

    Cons

Everything... from payroll cuts to make quarterly earnings, to low -starting non-competive retail wages they offer associates for their very hard work and mixed messages from regional team as priorities shift daily, even hourly, on a whim.

    Advice to Management

Take note of what competitors offer to truly practice what you preach about being a "caring" company.

I have been working at Burlington Stores full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

-Company will help you grow, give you opportunity. -Good pay, senior management will help get what you need/deserve

    Cons

-As with any retailer, long hours during randomly announced visits to store. -Not as much support with employees as needed, managers have to do more when company expects managers to manage. -While constant change can lead to success, it leads to frustration from management AND associates.
