I worked at Burns & McDonnell full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Employee-owned, but not all employee-owners are treated equally. Management determines advancement. Good bonus possible. Flexible work location allowed for some positions.

    Cons

Internally operated like any company where the Management is protected at the employee's expense. Not allowed to pursue client work unless you are granted access to Customer Management System. Expected to achieve high percentages for billable hours in which you have no control for assignments.

    Advice to Management

All employee-owners should be treated with respect and their voice should be heard.
