      Pros

Work with great people with the opportunity to learn a lot. Everyone has your best interests in mind and wants to see you grow professionally. Final intern project is a great learning experience. Intern program gives you the opportunity to work across other practices. Mid review and final review- very helpful to my professional growth.

      Cons

As an intern, billing overtime hours is very strict. I found myself leaving early a lot of days to compensate working late on other days. Possibility to be hired after the internship is 50/50, and it is hard to find this out during the course of the internship.

Great clients and talent, but lacking opportunity

      Pros

Clients are great-- Whether you have 1 year or 25 years of experience, at Burson, you'll always get to work with top tier corporations. Great people--the opportunity to learn from your colleagues is always there

      Cons

While the office is more "open," the culture is lacking. Majority of the office rarely stay past 5:30 or want to venture outside the office for social events. Office politics are alive and well-- if you aren't in a good position with the favored employees, good luck. Promotions and raises happen twice a year-- and still WPP can take this away and the cycles are normally delayed a few months.

Great people but crazy clients aren't reigned I.

      Pros

Really great people who care about each other, career development, flexibility. Account teams run well as most people work hard but have easy going personalities. Employees are much nicer than what I experienced at other agencies.

      Cons

Work/life balance. Lack of culture and identity as many accounts work across different offices. Senior leadership lets certain clients (who fall within the Key Client Relationship Model) walk all over us. They will do anything to keep these clients, even at the expense of employees health and wellbeing.

      Pros

Huge network Opportunity for growth (if you seek it) Company reputation Multitude of projects Great people

      Cons

Not necessarily a con, but you need to seek out work. It will not just be handed to you and you need to prove yourself.

      Pros

There are certain people in the organization that are great, forward thinking, and helpful but, they are often bogged down by the other leaders in the organization who aren't willing to change. Immediate coworkers are often great people. Infrastructure staff is great. There are a lot of opportunities in PR, just usually out of reach.

      Cons

Compensation is a joke. Promotions and raises don't make sense and are often not fair or clear who/why they got them. The office cultures are "okay," there are farewell parties weekly. The overall sense is that everyone hates their jobs there, you can't make a doctor's appointment without people thinking you are interviewing elsewhere. The company has had massive turnover and isn't hiring the same quality of people which brings extra stress to people that have been there for a long time. People don't usually work smarter, they work harder. This might be because leadership is lacking from mid-level to senior management. When you try to suggest change or innovation you are met with huge egos and doors in your face. Work-Life balance is a joke. I work late evenings and every weekend. I can't remember the last time I had an entire day to myself.
