I worked at Butler America (More than a year)

    Pros

The work on Sikorsky products is great.

    Cons

Horrible place to work. They treat engineers as billable hours in a seat and higher at a teachers salary. Would not recommend at all.

    Advice to Management

Please understand the employee turnover rate and try to engage in better management practices.

Poor Management, no processes, short-sighted, no vision, does not value leadership at the accout level.

    Advice to Management

Build a strategic plan and stick to it. Don't drink too much Kook-aid.

I have been working at Butler America as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay per hour. Somewhat flexible hours.

    Cons

Hardly any benefits and does not compare to other companies in the area. Holidays are few and you get a weeks pay after a year but really no real paid vacation days.

    Advice to Management

Look at the whole benefits package and rework it. Also upper needs to work on conflicts within the groups there is no real feeling that we are all working together.
