I have been working at C.H. Robinson full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

C.H. Robinson takes the time to invest in its employees, which is so refreshing after my last job. They value my career-focused drive and have rewarded my hard work.

    Cons

Haven't really seen anything major. Every company has nuances that don't appeal to some people. Only thing I can think of is that employee experience probably differs between offices depending on job function.

    Advice to Management

Continue the hard work to reshape how our business is structured to meet the changing landscape our industry is in.

I have been working at C.H. Robinson (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people are easily the best part of this job. Very laid back culture while also being very fast paced and sometimes hectic to a point.

    Cons

Very difficult to get excited about the trucking industry. Unless you are a large company, the freight is treated as second class.

    Advice to Management

Personalized carrier reps for sales, updated technology (CRM, Lead Generation Tools, etc.).

I have been working at C.H. Robinson full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work autonomy, fast paced, close relationships with peers/colleagues. Ability to problem solve. Excellent benefits package and work phone (health/401k/espp very strong).

    Cons

High stress, high demands, disconnected leadership, easy to feel burn out. Extremely flat organizational structure and limited career path outside of sales. Work often feels thankless and under appreciated. Tribal atmosphere.

I have been working at C.H. Robinson full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great culture
Easier once you learn the lingo
    Updated buildings

    Cons

Training could be more rigid, very loose and often situational so it's hard to get a grasp and have confidence in what you are doing.

    Advice to Management

Create more examples of projects and ask new employees questions of how they would solve situational problems.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and reward a job well done.
