I worked at C-K full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

You get to work on tasks above your job title as there was an "all hands on deck" mentality. You also get to build relationships with VPs across the network to get your voice heard, and you get to work with talented people.

    Cons

They seemed to lack structure compared to the other offices. There was a clear preference to some workers vs. others.

    Advice to Management

Hire young talent to add new perspective and creativity to the office.

I worked at C-K full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Fun and supportive culture with great opportunity for growth. I came from NYC not knowing anyone and quickly felt immersed into the team. C-K has a strong emphasis on coaching and mentorship. The Account Management department has some of the smartest, most talented and kindest people I have met in the media industry. The team is a direct reflection of the leadership brewed in Milwaukee.

    Cons

    None that come to mind.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing all your doing to make C-K Milwaukee such a wonderful place to work.

I worked at C-K full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

The people at C-K are really great colleagues. It's a positive, fun environment. C-K's leadership team is very strong and they have some amazing clients like Porsche, Cedar Fair, Corona, Edward Jones, Nikon, etc. I enjoyed working at C-K. Really wonderful people and a very positive corporate culture. It's a good place to start a career or to move to as an experienced hire.

    Cons

None specific to C-K. The bigger question is always whether to stay in the agency world or go client side.

    I worked at C-K full-time

    Pros

If you can get on a good team with good people, you can have a great time. There are a lot of office parties and whatnot, typical agency perks, and recently renovated offices in a great location. My team was wonderful and I loved working with them and learning from them. There was also a great 401K and matching program. HR would bring in Schwab yearly to answer questions, which was great. Sadly, this is where the pros...

    Cons

CK has some truly awful upper management that is stifling the agency as a whole. The atmosphere is very disjointed here. There are the directors that are overpaid to do who knows what, and then there is everyone else who is smart and works hard for no recognition or money. There has not been any solid new business in a very long time, which was very concerning for job security and the future of the agency. It is sad...

    Advice to Management

Your current new biz/department heads are clearly not working out. Clean house and save the agency before it is too late. This could be a great place again.

    I have been working at C-K full-time

    Pros

I have been with this agency for 3+ years and have seen it go through some changes. Here is a non-biased/non-skued ex employee review and some straight-shoot thoughts from a real time, hard-working current employee: - Yes, we have gone through some ups and downs (ALL corporations do at some point or another) but I can honestly say that all levels of management are having their voices heard and the executive team is making...

    Cons

I don't need to voice any thoughts/recos for improvement on here because I have already given those directly to the Executive Team/HR.
