    Pros

CACI is very committed to the mission of supporting the Federal Government. Treats employees very well.

    Cons

No cons really. In terms of federal government contractors, CACI is one of the best.

    Great Summer at CACI

    Oct 14, 2021 - Software Engineer(Internship) in Westminster, CO

    Pros

The internship program is designed really well to help interns gain a full software engineering experience. Rather than shadow other employees and doing odd jobs day to day, interns are assigned a team at the start of the summer with a project to work on. The projects are all really interesting and involve designing an original solution to a problem CACI or a customer faces. At the end of the summer, interns present their solution, which the company intends to use.

    Cons

CACI acquires many smaller companies, so it sometimes feels like the workplace culture of the acquired company clashes with CACI.

    Would not recommend

    Pros

Benefits are good. Compensation is not.

    Cons

Would not recommend this company to anyone. Management cares very little about employees, especially when it comes to diversity. If you have hopes for promotion, then you'd better be under 30 and light skinned. Have seen some very talented individuals burn out and leave the company, because they were passed over for promotions, and because the jobs that they hoped for were given to people far less skilled. The company's SVP forced employees to return to work at the height of the pandemic (Late 2020), before vaccines were widely available, and despite the fact that most of the employees were fully capable of working from home. Witnessed, along with the rest of the people in the building, this same SVP standing in the former HR director's door loudly berating her because she refused to bend company policy. Her exact words, "I can't do that it's against company policy." Everyone heard. The harassment went on for about four months until she was forced to resign. Much better places to work out there than the CACI SSC.

    Highly Recommended

    Pros

Hiring Manager is probably the biggest reason I love working for CACI. She provides her team flexibility to do their job while still meeting mission requirements.

    Cons

Given that it's a contract job, you are seen as not really part of the team by government employees but instead as the help. Also, no clear path to moving to the next level (upward movement).

A truly awful company that kills everything it touches

    Pros

When it was still LGS, it was a fantastic company that valued hard work and inventive ideas. The employees felt valued.

    Cons

    - After the CACI takeover, they made it very clear they did not care about our “concerns.” - They altered benefits, even after stating they wouldn’t, including screwing people out of earned 401k matched money when they brought in their 3 years vested rule, which is already ridiculous for a basic benefit such as this. - They also lowered the match amount. - All other benefits changed for the worse, including health. - Two rounds of layoffs in 2021 due to mismanagement from CACI leadership costing hundreds of good employees. - Loss of the best talent to competing companies that actually cares about their employees. - Disturbing lack of diversity amongst management.
