    Very Large Company

    Pros

CACI gives good benefits, in my position I was accruing 18 days PTO a year. Has many locations and seems open to remote work (depending on the project. CACI has a lot of folks who have been with the company 10 years or more.

    Cons

Very large company in many different fields. Your experience is going to depend largely on your manager and department.

    Would not recommend

    Pros

Benefits are good. Compensation is not.

    Cons

Would not recommend this company to anyone. Management cares very little about employees, especially when it comes to diversity. If you have hopes for promotion, then you'd better be under 30 and light skinned. Have seen some very talented individuals burn out and leave the company, because they were passed over for promotions, and because the jobs that they hoped for were given to people far less skilled. The company's SVP forced employees to return to work at the height of the pandemic (Late 2020), before vaccines were widely available, and despite the fact that most of the employees were fully capable of working from home. Witnessed, along with the rest of the people in the building, this same SVP standing in the former HR director's door loudly berating her because she refused to bend company policy. Her exact words, "I can't do that it's against company policy." Everyone heard. The harassment went on for about four months until she was forced to resign. Much better places to work out there than the CACI SSC.

    Great Benifits

Dec 4, 2021 - Software Engineer in San Antonio, TX

    Pros

Good benefits Great people Great work ethic

    Cons

Pay is lower than average Raises are only 3% max and competitive Multiple projects are delegated to you no matter what your title is (more work is given but no pay increase to compensate) Career movement is based on time served not quality and level of work (giving an entry level engineer an entire system to design)

CACI has integrity, taking care of customers and employees alike.

    Pros

*Very good benefits *Competitive Salary *Earnest Concern for employees (employee survey actually drive decision making, benefits, and employee evaluation. *Acts like employees are long term investment, not disposable assets. *Stability of a long time stable company, but still innovative, partly because of culture, and also because of *Diversity including gender. Good to see many talented women and minorities. * Veteran friendly - lots of vets, but lots of non vets too. *Outsource to Salt lake city rather than another country. *Extremely supportive during COVID times. I feel the company has my back from the CEO and President down to my PM and Manager.

    Cons

*Apparently the experience of the low level clerical folks and background investigators could be better. I suspect that limits mobility from the low ranks. Still, probably a good place to get experience. *Like any company our size, there is a bit of bureaucratic red tape, but not too bad.

    Cons

    Mostly Good

May 10, 2021 - Technical Writer in Williamsburg, VA

    Pros

There are a lot of contracts, which means a lot of positions to fill. Benefits are good. Upper and lateral movement is encouraged and pretty easily accomplished.

    Cons

Because there's a lot of contracts & positions, that also means upper echelon management doesn't pay attention half the time. There's a good chance you're going to get a bad manager or supervisor; when that happens, there's no one you can really turn to and you just have to try to get through it or get a different position.

LGS Labs used to be a Great place, Now as part of CACI it is good to OK

Apr 13, 2021 - Engineering Manager in Westminster, CO

    Pros

(LGS Labs) Great people to work with, good projects and challenging work. Good benefits, emphasis on work life balance. Pretty good culture although diminished since bought by CACI.

    Cons

Treated like a number in a large company since acquired by CACI. Upper management has become political and cares less about the people. Before bought by CACI, LGS Innovations was a much better place to work. NO SEVERANCE, only given a couple weeks to find work even after 13+ years.

Interesting Work but Company Just OK

    Jun 16, 2021 - Senior Systems Engineer
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Great work, very technical when you can get it. Good benefits.

    Cons

Company acquired LGS two years ago and is struggling to understand how to run it. Company is often laying people off who are under utilized and will give only two weeks notice with no severance pay. It has many silos with redundant functions, so various groups compete for work.
