I worked at CACI International full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good...benefits, opportunities, pay. Always a mission.

    Cons

Contract focused, very hierarchical, always a push to advance (not quite a con if you like that)

    Advice to Management

Keep it real with the contract workers. Keep doing a good job.

"Fair employer, but the employees are ultimately replaceable cogs."

I worked at CACI International full-time

    Pros

Good salary, Fairly good benefits. They are actively trying to improve the annual review process. When our government contract was lost, they at least made an attempt to line up employment openings with displaced employees.

    Cons

401(k) has 0% Vesting until 3 years of service. With over 3,000 openings, the company had fewer than 10 openings that allowed remote work. Thus, unless you wanted to move to another region of the country, there is no follow-on work for displaced employees.

    Advice to Management

Work with the customer base to step into today's world, and demonstrate the usefulness of remote work as an option.

I worked at CACI International full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good benefits, as you would expect from a large company. An abundance of online, self paced training. Their IT support is top notch (laptop, connectivity issues, etc.)

    Cons

HR is terrible. Wellness Incentives are not processed in an timely manner. HR requests fall into a black hole and are rarely answered. Half of my team was involuntarily terminated due to short sighted funding allocation on a new contract. After being told when interviewed that 'CACI has lots of jobs. If anything happens on this contract, you won't be laid off.' I was given zero support in my search for another... internal position. Applications were closed without any contact being made, never mind providing feedback as to why. I think the worst thing is, the employees that were let go were not paid their final paycheck on time. No explanation why.

I worked at CACI International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good benefits, decent wages, steady employment

    Cons

Long hours due to trying to please the customer with work not covered in the contract. No promotions. Company centered primarily around high ranking retirees holding high level positions.

    Advice to Management

Promote talent! If you want to keep employees don't BS them about contract problems. Actively engage talented employees, look for promotion possibilities for them, or keep hemorrhaging you talent.

I worked at CACI International for more than a year

    Pros

    Good benefits and flexible hours

    Cons

Pay is a joke, workload is impossible

    Advice to Management

When it comes to employees, do not just check the block on the task of providing guidance and leadership. Actually take the time to listen to your employees and appreciate the work they do, even if it's work that isn't associated with getting management the recognition from higher up.
