    Pros

Excellent benefit package, compenent HR, local Tampa office management team working hard for front-line employees. Transition from L-3 to CACI went as well as could be expected.

    Cons

Disengaged management, their projection of company ethos was nothing like the reality.

In my two direct interactions with upper corporate management, both times were the same: they told me an employee-centric action was in process that would benefit all NSS employees, and neither time it actually happened.

    Advice to Management

When you interact with front-line staff, be frank and honest. Don't make promises or state beneficial actions are underway when they are not. If you make promises to employees, and they cannot be kept, reach out and explain why.

I have been working at CACi Online full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Nice people, highly ethical company

    Cons

major bureaucracy, too many layers of dead wood.

    Advice to Management

You do not need 5 layers of management to control and manage an IT project. It creates delays in schedules and frustrates technicians who know how to do their job and don't need someone looking over their shoulders who does not understand what they do.

    Pros

Good company with average benifits and pay. Pretty flexable with hours and use of Paid Time Off. Great teamwork enviroment.

    Cons

I am not finding oppertunities for advancement. I have asked my Project Manager for guideance but he never comes back with anything.

    Advice to Management

Please continue to keep up with the industry standards of pay and benifits. Highlight your career advancement programs so average employees can take advanatage of it and help grow the company.

    Pros

Employment and job security as long as you can disassociate with your personal life, your family, and your friends. If you can concentrate on good solid 12 to 15 hour work days, you will do fine.

    Cons

Since taking over the work from USIS they are changing into the same company as was USIS. What brought me to this company was the image they presented of a belief in family and free time. However it has become an realistic push to non obtainable goals. There is very little free time and investigators are leaving in rather startling numbers. Concerning the addiction to the federal dollars, there is a drive for more and more and the concerns for employee retention are fastly fading away. Before beginning employment with this company, speak privately with a current employee. Most field investigators are actively searching for other employment because of the changes being made lately by this company and the coldness towards their lower level employees.

    Advice to Management

Remember what happened to USIS. You can fail. and more importantly remember that even though your management is far removed from your lowly field investigations; they have lives and families as you do. And they do enjoy spending time with there families.
