    Once you get out of class, you could head straight to work after.

    Cons

    There aren't many places to eat during the summer.

    Closes early so you cant get any hours past 4 pm.

    flexible hours, co-workers have a lot in common, people are very flexible and usually work around hours

    Cons

    pay could be better, but that's normal for state schools

    Working at Cal Poly is extremely enjoyable and convenient for full-time students seeking a part time job. The hours are flexible enough to accommodate for your schedule. The users we support are incredibly friendly and always appreciate a job well done.

    Some policies are outdated and/or inflexible.

    Consider approaching work hour restrictions for students on a case by case basis.
