    Pros

    Very good income potential with no caps. Leads are plentiful and mostly consist of people that are in the market for a Vehicle Protection plan. We have all the tools and resources available at our fingertips to assist in giving the best presentation to potential customers. It also helps to work in a stress free environment without someone constantly looking over your shoulder. Rarely will you find a sales job where everyone , for the most part, is willing to help each other be successful. I feel this company will have substantial growth over the next year or so.

    Cons

    As in any sales job, some days will be not as good as others.

    Pros

    They have an amazing training program, and will assist you in any way possible. The commission is great for the hours worked. Great team to work with.

    Cons

    Sometimes you have deal with insane people.

    Advice to Management

    Lower the prices of the policies as a lot of people just cant afford it.

    Great money potential, great management training.

    Cons

    Long hours, tough work/life balance. Be prepared to work a lot of Saturdays to make your monthly sales goals.

    Pros

    The amount of money we make is pretty incredible for what we do. The culture is very fun and unlike the cuthroat nature of alot of sales Jobs. You can wear whatever you want and the fact that we have a gym, massuese and yoga teacher is just icing on the cake

    Cons

    Not the Most comofortable chairs in the world

    Listen to Employee Feedback just a little better, but overall amazing Job

    Pros

    Great work/life balance and Carchex is always looking to build towards the future.

    Cons

    Some slow times during the year but that is expected with a sales position. As long as your are putting the effort forward, you will make a great living at Carchex and still have time for your personal life.

    Work once a month on Saturday 10-3

    I worked at CARCHEX full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Free use of gym (boot camp) on your lunch break. You need to manage that time for the gym and lunch which is typically an hour. Free Pizza on Saturdays that you work. Free food within your team when your supervisor buys it or at the end of the month you will get breakfast and/or lunch.

    Cons

    Hours will vary from 10-7, 11-8 and 12-9. You will be lucky to get a 9-6 if you are a top performer you may get one shift per week that is 9-6, all other days will be the other shifts. Benefits are outrageously expensive. PTO is 5 days/yr. You must work every 3rd Saturday and end of the mth on a Saturday if that is how it falls. If the company is not hitting goal, you may need to work on Saturdays to help your numbers and theirs. Alot of favoritism within management. If you are not liked, you will more than likely asked to quit or you will get fired. I saw many people in 3mth time leave. Hard to make real friends for that reason. High turn over.

    Advice to Management

    Fun but need to be aware of the people on your team at all times not just the high performers but the middle performers who also bring in business and are productive. They need to be praised too.

    A growing company that promotes from within
    On site FREE boot camp and yoga classes
    Friendly and fun employees
    Opportunity to make REAL money
    Casual workplace No suits here!
    Fantastic location
    Great leadership

    Sales reps have to work one Saturday a month

    Pros

    I have worked here for 2 years and the place has a great location with Great People and a Fast process when time to close, great infrastructure in the office and can work from home sometimes.

    Cons

    100% Commission, Extreme Long Hours, Deal Goal per month is too high, Almost No PTO and when you take off you have to still hit your goal #, if you take off non pto you will be charged for it, you have to work 2 out of 4 weekends, you cant negotiate the deal pricing for a customer that needs a budget plan so turns out no deal, even if you are great and work your behind off its still not a guarantee you can make good money here

    Advice to Management

    Lower goals to decrease turn over and increase production, morale and revenue and ave first yr income.
