    I worked at CB&I full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I enjoyed working at CBI because the starting pay wasn't great but you got wage increases. The crew was friendly and easy to work with. The hours were good. The company was family oriented and sponsored a picnic every year

    Cons

The plant was very noisy. It was very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. The company didn't provide any clothing for the cold months.

    Advice to Management

The management needs to be impartial when handling situations that arise with employees that they don't really care for. They need to be professional at all times and be willing to listen and explore different methods to resolve problems.

    Pros

Flex hours, good pay and good support to young engineers to develop there career. Many office locations with opportunity for lateral movement.

    Cons

Unstable job market, hire a lot when they have work and frequent layoffs due to reduced workload. Very unstable for young engineers

    Advice to Management

I would say hire a team who can be employed with continuous workload

I have been working at CB&I full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's a good company decent pay rate and my experience since hiring on have been good . They're definitely serious about worker safety and don't expect you to kill yourself just show up and stay busy working .

    Cons

Don't like the schedule change at last minute and seems to me that the one's that show up but are extremely freaking lazy are allowed to get away with it just because their attendance is good ....

    Advice to Management

Need to make your Frontline white hats be more proactive in training those willing to learn don't just let them not be the leaders chose to guide and manage the one's that actually do the work
