I worked at CBRE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great team members I was able to work with. Great benefits and communication was always excellent. Up to date on technology which helped with the clients needs.

    Cons

Change of management happened way too often. Titles changed a lot for employees but roles/responsibilities/salary remained the same. We could never figure that one out.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes the following saying goes a long way "if it isn't broke .. don't fix it."

    Pros

Professional, ethical company with global coverage and top notch talent. Management seems to say what they mean and mean what they say.

    Cons

Being on the Global Workplace Solutions platform means sometimes there is uncertainty in employment based on the needs of the client.

I have been working at CBRE full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good-to-great company to work for with support for anyone to chose their career path within the company. Easy process to move between business lines and to apply to positions in other markets.

    Cons

Some inconsistency within management. If you're luck to find a good leader, the support and mentoring is great. If you're unfortunate to not have a great leader, there are ways around it, but the company is slow to remove those who don't lead by example.

    Advice to Management

Great leaders are important to recognize. Poor leaders need to be identified more quickly and action taken to remove those who are not. Large turnover within a group is probably a good indicator someone is not doing their job or doing it well. Pay closer attention to this.

    Pros

This is a successful, large corporation that continues to grow and improve. The job market is more prolific than in the past and this company offers good benefits. I have learned a lot about this business during my tenure and would recommend persons to seek employment with CBRE.
