works at

Splitone Technologies

I work for a small SEO marketing firm Primary job is ghostwriting articles for clients to get them in industry publications, local papers to get the link to the client website. I have clients who got in tv and radio too. With my experience in this field could anyone experienced in true PR let me know if I might be qualified to switch over to true PR industry? Pubs I’ve worked with: Structure, Readers digest, NYT, Counselor, Treatment, CBS news Phoenix, and other large industry pubs.

Good Benefits, But Proceed With Caution

    Pros

Amazing benefits (i.e. leave, health insurance, 401k, etc(

    Cons

While the company has new leaders at the top who claim to be changing the culture, there is still so much of the old culture with deep roots there ... that you get told one story to your face to keep you happy, but in reality, it will most likely not go the way you want it in terms of opportunity, etc. There are still a lot of managers who promote their chosen ones and lean on the workhorses who they know won't leave ... to carry the load. You will get just enough bones thrown your way to stick out one more contract. That is their evil trick ... also known as the golden handcuffs.
