I worked at CBS Outdoor part-time

    Pros

Paid internship, friendly environment, had lots of training to prepare you for work in the summer

    Cons

none that come to mind. The company offered training in the internship as well as some flexibility with projects

    Advice to Management

Advice to management would be that the internship could be exposed to teams in order to get a more broad experience

I worked at CBS Outdoor (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay is good and the hours are flexible. Management is also very helpful. The benefits were better than most places and the 401k program is great as well.

    Cons

It was difficult to find and develop new business being in a small market. This job would be easier and better paying in a bigger city.

    Cons

Large company so simple things like getting IT or HR help can be more challenging than it should be.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

    Pros

It was an upbeat and challenging environment and I reported directly to a well respected GM who has more charisma than anyone I have ever met in my 25 year career.

    Cons

I wish that they had pushed me harder to succeed.

    Pros

Good personal/work life balance. Very friendly employees.

    Cons

The pay is not good unless you have an agency for National Accounts. Nepotism happens often.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees no matter what level they are at. Be more approachable as most of the staff are too intimidated to speak their minds.

I worked at CBS Outdoor full-time

    Pros

Experienced sales team is great to learn from and confident enough to have a good sense of humor in the process. Help is always available and asking for it is never scrutinized. Do the job right or not at all.

    Cons

Highly corporate, no overtime, strict dress code even for assistants. Be prepared for logistical changes on the fly as departments clash over details.

    Advice to Management

Training could have been more hands on, but keeping contact lines open and friendly helps make up for that a bit.
