I have been working at CBS part-time for more than a year

    Pros

I've made lifelong friends in the Page Program. It's part time so it gave me time to work on other projects The work isn't that serious/doesn't require much thought. Supervisors are forgiving and very kind. Access to CBS Television City and Radford lots.

    Cons

There is no 'program.' This is a job and to call it otherwise, insinuating there's any order or additional learning resource is deceitful. It's mostly performing the load in/out of audiences for shows. Audiences as well as the coordinators can be very degrading and cruel to Pages. There's no PA work on set nor are there organized networking opportunities specific to the Pages. There's no programming of events either....

    Advice to Management

Develop actual programming for the page 'program' so Pages have incentive to do well. Someone needs to advocate for the Pages! No one wants to stick their neck out for this job or put in extra work only to be treated as disposable.
