I worked at CBS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Health Insurance, 401K, PTO, good location

    Cons

There was no room for growth, poor management, and absolutely no structure. Not sure about other departments but HR is a disaster, they show no employee support and don't really care for their staff.

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees. It costs more to keep hiring than to retain a good employee whose willing to learn and grow.

I worked at CBS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

In my time at CBS I had an incredible time. I was able to learn and grow my skills while building a network that I can continue to use for year.

    Cons

They are very cheap. If one penny can be scared they will take two. But this does offer the chance to do your best with what you have.

I worked at CBS part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people there are great, and if you network well enough, it can lead to jobs on the shows produced there.

    Cons

When it's slow, it's slow so you get under 20 hours. Also you have to be available 3 days a week so if you have another job or get a one time gig and you can only work 2 days that week, they won't give you any hours.

I have been working at CBS (Less than a year)

    Pros

Learn a lot from the people around you. People are extremely nice and respectful.

    Cons

It is hard to get processes changed and the slower more difficult way to do things is often preferred. Need to network a lot to move up.

    Advice to Management

Look for the newer and better way to do tasks even if it is different and takes slight adjustments.

    Pros

Good salary and benefits. Company name is good to have on your resume.

    Cons

Horrible management. There are director level managers who have no clue what's going on and still get to keep their job.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to what's going on in the company instead of just blindly believing everything.
