I worked at CCC Transportation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They keep the Mack trucks running pretty good. You're home every night. Dispatchers are easy to deal with. Good training for a beginner.

    Cons

Most of the tankers and vans are crap. You will use your entire 14 hours and think that you're going to get a decent check. You will even volunteer to work on Saturday's and take the longest deliveries. Your check will never be much more than $550. But when the company gets in a bind they will pay you double for the same routes.

    Advice to Management

Pay a fare wage to your drivers so they want to stay.

I worked at CCC Transportation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Full time job, no slip seating trucks, paid weekly

    Cons

Never know when you are working or your days off, paid a percentage by load with a guarantee but you will never go over the guarantee, i never made more than the guarantee even working 60-70 hrs a week.

    Advice to Management

Pay your drivers by the hour so we know what we are getting paid. Instead of this percentage game.

    Pros

Some of the people are good and helpful

    Cons

Some of the people in management lie to your face and pay is terrible for the hours you work

    Advice to Management

I worked for the Co 33 years and expected to retire from the Co but the Co it's been run to the ground by some in your management, my advice for what is worth take control of co. operations
Mr. Bostic would come out of his grave if he knew what happened to his CO.

I have been working at CCC Transportation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They have accounts that let you come home everyday and your routes are not crazy. Pay was awesome. Dispatch is super nice and will work with you. It's all about what you make of it and how you handle yourself. Some of the other drivers get pissed and leave with a bad taste because they don't work things out, sometimes is even the driver's mistake. They'll work with you if you are cool about it!

    Cons

Driver's break room needs some updates...wifi?!

    Advice to Management

Update the facilities used by the drivers.

I worked at CCC Transportation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Money is good if you work 14 plus hours a day.

    Cons

Management wants or expects 100 percent of tractor and individual's time, 16 on and 10 hours off is their goal and they will run that clock all the way to 16 if they can. No life/work balance here unless your on a good dedicated schedule.

    Advice to Management

You would keep more people (less turn over) if you paid more, work less and stop overbooking loads you can't cover.

I worked at CCC Transportation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Dispatch is friendly. Nothing else worth mentioning,... Um... Working here is better than being a prostitute I guess... Working here is better than being on meth supposedly...

    Cons

Never paid, want you to fix repairs out of pocket, junk tankers, unreliable company, don't care about your family life. Won't fix there equipment.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating drivers like crap! Without us you don't have a company. And if you're going to guarantee a weekly salary... Then stand by it! Dont pay the driver 150 and be confused when he calls complaining!

I worked at CCC Transportation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

paid training was all I can think off......pretty sad

    Cons

tractors and trailers are in complete poor condition, recruiters lie to you, dispatch constantly change their minds as to where your next load is coming from or going with little to no notice. NO RESPECTABLE HOME TIME, some terminal are not even terminals, more like a unsecured dirt lot. Miles driven are a joke and not even worth the time sacrificed away from your family.

    Advice to Management

this company needs to reorganize their dispatchers and load planners or be absorbed by a more respectable company.

    Pros

Company is solid with lots of good drivers. It's hard to find a good Day Cab job that gets you home every night. More money to be made over the road. Average equipment, but well maintained.

    Cons

Takes a lot of hours to make your money. But if you want to drive a day cab that's what you'll do.

    Advice to Management

An increase of benefits for medical would go a long way to make up for the lower than average rate of pay.

I have been working at CCC Transportation (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It pays weekly and you can work overtime

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Need a job where I can work the whole year

I have been working at CCC Transportation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I get to take the truck home because I'm regional and live more than 50 miles from the terminal. That's about it.

    Cons

They don't really have steady work. The pay sucks. I have sat for hours waiting for dispatch to send my next load. Dispatch doesn't seem to care about the drivers at all.

    Advice to Management

Treat drivers with a little more respect. Dispatch is not respectful at all. They run me way to close to my hours and I end up getting stuck and have to do my reset away from home when I was told I would be able to be home for resets.
