I have been working at CCS Medical full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great people to work with, I love my manager he has made good changes to our department and shows he cares about his employees. Pay is good and its not far from restaurants/good food. Company is finaly getting rid of the bad people which is helping the moral of people.

    Cons

It can be stressful at times and some coworkers can be annoying. Last Saturday of the month is mandatory....

    Advice to Management

continue to get rid of people who do not work, this will make work a more pleasant place to work at. Buy us lunch at least once a month.

I worked at CCS Medical for more than 3 years

    Pros

Management was very personable. The working environment was laid back. The culture of the company (other team members and peers) was that of a helpful nature. Team player culture.

    Cons

There was not much room for advancement or growth. The directives or expectations of management were unclear.

I have been working at CCS Medical full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Because of a decreased insurance reimbursement trends over the past few years, CCS along with other DME companies have had to make adjustments. As a result of low reimbursement and poor decision making by former senior leadership, employees are on a salary freeze, with no increases over the past 2 years. This is in an effort to avoid downsizing. Although this is disappointing, it is better than cutting positions. ...

    Cons

Communication between departments is very poor. Leadership needs to have weekly meetings so they are in constant communication. Contracting and Patient Support leadership is very weak. CEO is only concerned with revenue, he should be more concerned with reimbursement. Contracting department needs an overhaul in leadership, and patient support leadership needs to be released from their duties and replaced. Period.

    Advice to Management

Get the right people in leadership positions. WAY TO TOP HEAVY.

I have been working at CCS Medical full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

A lot of excellent co-workers. The working environment changes, so that keeps it interesting for those of us that are quick learners and like to learn new things. Good pay and decent benefits. Management provides feedback so you know where your work can improve and know what you're doing well.

    Cons

Headphones for people that don't work on the phones would be nice. Department knowledge can be increased across the company.

    Advice to Management

Continue to increase communication among the teams, ask current employees for feedback regularly, and let us wear headphones again please.

I have been working at CCS Medical full-time

      Pros

You get to know some really great people.

      Cons

There is a high turnover in the company due to poor mgmt, low moral and no opportunity for advancement. Any ideas you bring to the table or policies that you've created are taken by your manager and made to look as though it was their idea

      Advice to Management

Give your senior reps the opportunity to advance in the company making room for others to grow instead of always bringing in others/friends from the outside and their is african americans in upper mgmt with this company.

I worked at CCS Medical for more than 5 years

      Pros

Commission, unlimited Overtime, good people to work with.

      Cons

overloaded with too much work due to management's need for reports and status on a continuous basis so there is no time to work, you are always giving status to someone. It is a very high stress position.

      Advice to Management

Take into consideration what the reps go through to ship out. The expectations are highly unrealistic.

I worked at CCS Medical full-time for more than a year

      Pros

The pay is ok, if you work overtime you can have a nice paycheck.

      Cons

Guidelines and policies have not been updated since 2009. The only reason they have an idea about what is current is due to the diligent hardworking employees. The managers will micro-manage you as if you are a pre-schooler. Immense discrimination and belittling of employees, raises are given only to upper management. Expect to see a raise after 2 yrs of wrk and no sooner than that. This is a job that has absolutely...
