I worked at CDE Global full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Opportunity is there to learn if you take your own initiative, but there is a low ceiling to how far you can develop.

    Cons

The company does an excellent job putting forth an image of professionalism, but in reality it is the most disorganized place I have ever worked. Promises are not followed up with, and the primary concern is bringing in money, with customer and employee satisfaction finishing at the bottom of priorities. I would warn anyone accepting a job here that for the U.S., 80% of new hires leave this company within the first 2 years. It's an okay transition job but an absolutely horrible long term investment. Be prepared for a massive amount of mistakes and disgruntled employees/customers who are not proud to be working alongside CDE. Management has been told time and again what needs to change, but ignores advice until it is too late. I do not see a bright future ahead for CDE. I feel sad for the few good people I left behind and sincerely hope that this company will take this review as an eye-opener as to what the organization needs most.

    Advice to Management

The reason the company is struggling is because CDE has a horrible retention rate. Customers then have to deal with inexperienced new hires who have to learn on the fly and cannot accommodate needs correctly. The small pool of experienced staff is constantly struggling to keep up with an increased workload, which means either the work can’t be completed properly or people get fed up and leave.
The reason there is a horrible retention rate is because you treat your employees poorly and offer bottom tier benefits, pay, and growth opportunities.
If you start to value your employees more, you will create a stronger workforce and see success across the board.
