I have been working at CEB full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Outstanding training, impressive work environment, people always want you to succeed and help you to do so, opportunities for growth and transitions (even into a very different role). 19 PTO days, full benefits including vision and dental, 401K, the works. It's seriously an amazing place to work. I've worked in both the DC and Chicago office.

    Cons

It isn't exactly what you expect at first, as you start "training" in a dialing role at first, but it definitely isn't cold calling. It's extremely helpful and you work with relevant programs you'll need to be familiar with for a successful career. It's essentially customer service as well as a deeper familiarization with the tools you'll be using, so it's helpful. Just a little unclear when first entering the job.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

    Pros

Amazing Benefits and pro-employee culture. Great hours, comraderie and very humble and easy-to-approach managers. I love working here and the team I work with. Firm values support employees pursuing their interests and provide the flexibility to move divisions and even geographies within the company.

    Cons

Turn-over: This is more internal movement where employees move positions within the company to explore their interests but it means you may see a bit of movement once you have become comfortable with your group. Compensation may be slightly low compared to industry standards but work-life balance is much higher compared to industry standards.

    Advice to Management

Maintain company culture, adjust compensation to market rates

Some of the smartest people I have ever met. Working with CEB-ers is like an on-going graduate degree. Intellectually curious people who want to solve problems.

    Cons

    Long hours, lots of travel.
