I worked at CF Industries full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

Great pay and benefits for the area.

    Cons

Management plays favoritism and lets qualified individuals go. Hard to get hired on, need to know someone in management.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to fight for positions for qualified individuals instead of saying "Sr. Management won't do that" Also supervisors and managers need to stop showing favoritism to individuals that are willing to throw fellow employees "under the bus" to management to make themselves look better.

I have been working at CF Industries full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

well established company with great people to work with. Good pay and benefits

    Cons

The industry is changing - the workforce, the way business is done. etc is all changing. Management is slow to accept that change and to change with it. Hard work is not always recognized and rewarded. Would like to see more advancement of employees versus hiring from outside

    Advice to Management

Start listening more to employees about the change that they want to see. Go back to having a suggestion/comment box and then take action on those items. There are a lot of people around here that are willing to lead change

I worked at CF Industries full-time

    Pros

They offer good pay and benefits.

    Cons

You are an "at will" employee, as practiced. You may be terminated with "rush to judgement" and without discussion. This position is not valued.

    Advice to Management

The turn over is a direct reflection of senior management team and the lack of knowledge of what progress is actually being done on a daily basis.
