I have been working at CF Industries full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

Awesome benefits. Hourly pay is decent. Very strong safety culture. Company is looking to implement new technologies for growth. Any reimbursement due to employees for business expenses are paid promptly. Extra curricular training is made available to employees such as first aid/CPR/AED. In combination with annual Hazwoper training, it gives operators as much (if not more) skills to responding to emergencies than first...

    Cons

Operator advancement is not a priority to upper level management. Hiring process has too many people involved. Too many hurdles for new hires. Implementation of new technologies often lack direction. Implementation and initiation of new directives often lack direction.

    Advice to Management

As CF grows, it is losing it’s ability to operate efficiently. This is to somewhat be expected as any company grows. However, in the crosshairs of this dilemma are the operating staff. Progression and advancement of personnel should not be overlooked.

I have been working at CF Industries full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Salary and benefits are competitive. The shared information between sites is really good. Plants are trying to be the best in class. Management support initiatives and projects. Currently expanding production and making good profit. Safety culture is real

    Cons

Location of most of the plants are not dream places. Industry depends on natural gas prices. Which make the industry a roller coaster.
