I worked at CGI full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great company to work for with bright people, and lots of room for advancement.

    Cons

Don't bother applying if you are older than 50 as they just recently let go of about 2,500 people to "juniorize" their staff.

    Advice to Management

    None

I worked at CGI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company had Medical Insurance, discounted company stocks, competitive pay. Even though they are a global company, they had an office in Houston.

    Cons

Encouraged workers to investigate where there was a potential job opening and report back. This process was also tied into employee’s performance review.

    Advice to Management

Make management have background in field that they are managing.

I worked at CGI full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They offer 'ok' benefits, that's it.

    Cons

Any time you're eligible for any kind of monetary reward they find a way to weasel out of it. I was there for 1.5 years and they told me that I left 1 week too early to receive the yearly bonus. They won't pay me for referring an employee, so their referral program is also terrible. And they always would come by the office to have a meeting with all of us and would never have any answers. This company is awful. No time off ever, and they force you to use PTO when you're sick so you can never save up vacation time. Also no room for growth.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like people, not numbers, and maybe actually give some incentive to work for you AND FOLLOW THROUGH WITH IT.
