    Pros

Challenging supply chain and operations projects. Smart people

    Cons

Poor and unprofessional behavior are overlooked for the sake or getting the work done. New employees are thrown right into the projects with minimal training on corporate culture, structure, processes or standards.

    Advice to Management

Don't tolerate unprofessional behavior from your employees; especially at client sites or in public team setting.

I worked at CGN Global full-time

    Pros

    Good people at lower levels

Strong alumni network because the many high quality people they hook up front with immigration sponsorship move on to other firms as soon as possible

    Cons

    Pay cuts abound!

CGN cut all Consulting employees pay at least 9% in early 2016 and followed that up with a 15% pay cut in late 2016!

It is no wonder that everyone (other than the out of touch leadership who thinks this is a well run firm) is fleeing for the exits!

    Advice to Management

Treat your people like an investment not like a cost that you want to cut to the bone

    Pros

If the company survives another 10 years they may stumble across a solution.

    Cons

The organization's management broadly suffers from an inability to execute or define their own strategy.

    Advice to Management

Find/define a path. A shotgun approach of trying to be everything to anybody until something sticks should not be confused with a business plan.

    Pros

CGN Global is a great company to work. You can develop skills participating in a wide range of projects for small and large companies.

    Cons

As it is a consulting firm, it is not easy to see other employees in different places. You will have to travel a lot for projects.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for the great management. I am always happy to work at CGN Global. I believe we will do well down the road.
