    Pros

Great group of peers. Interesting woork.

    Cons

    Walks like an elephant

    Advice to Management

Put some REAL HR people in offices. HR is out of touch with what employees need. They have a rule book that can't be altered, is not exposed until too late and respond as if trying to "close a ticket". Ask for help and get flushed....

    Advice to Management

Mistake joining with Jacobs. Not sure what happens when a good company joins something bad....i guess something not very good.

    Pros

Challenging tasks, nice facilities, good work life balance

    Cons

    Lack of mentoring and coaching

    Advice to Management

Could be more early training and a better introduction to the company and the team once you are hired.

  6. "Teamwork is key element when practiced in conjunction with open mindedness as part of EPCM processes."

    Pros

“Can Do” attitude when practiced consistently as part of the works by members of the management team is highly contagious.

    Cons

HSE is a key element in all we do and is all team members responsibility and extends beyond job site.

    Advice to Management

Craft professionals possess wealth of knowledge which can be valuable resources when integrated in project planning.

    I worked at CH2M full-time

    Pros

Always had the equipment that was necessary to perform tasks. Very safety oriented. They look out for their employees. Prefer to hire former employees that have been laid off. Will try to keep employees working by moving them from job to job if theres work available. Don't expect to be laid off once your assignment is up, if you are worth keeping they will try and find a place for you.

    Cons

Terrible communication between office managers and employees working in field. Hiring process could take up to a month sometimes. The company had no prior experience working in Alaska on the North slope and was not aware of the best or most efficient way to complete jobs. It hurt them in the end as the whole company was purchased by another company because of lack of work.

    Advice to Management

If its not broken don't fix it. Don't expect someone who lives in Denver to be able to run a job site in Alaska. It just won't work.

    Pros

Not much in comparison to what other firms of the same size offer.

    Cons

Management, lower pay, bad insurance company, moral, culture, and did I say management?

    Advice to Management

Re-evaluate the skills and quality of mid-level management
