    Pros

the hospital is close to where I live which is nice. but once they make up their mind about you there's nothing you can to to change it. I've never seen an OR like this and what goes on there.

    Cons

favoritism, upper management does not listen to you and what you have to say at all. other employees are allowed to say anything against you and they believe it. employees are allowed to cuss you and get away with it!

    Advice to Management

    listen to your employees

I worked at CHRISTUS Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Got out of the politics, favoritism and downright unethical conduct

    Cons

Laid off 330+ people in multiple job areas. Offered a sleezy severance contract with illegal things like can't apply for unemployment or talk about employer....but if you don't sign it, you get nothing. Many of those laid off supposedly for their "titled position" have been replaced. Now advertising sign-on and relocation bonuses to RN's gor Corpus Christi. That's because they have screwed over too many and only new grads looking experience stay there until something better comes along.

    Advice to Management

Actually follow your mission and vision. Quit making emotional decisions based on your master manipulatirs' false information from departments. Actually investigate what is going on by having presence. Instead of "lay off" those who answered your "anonymous" survey negatively, how about look at yourselves and change the corporate culture, follow your values on the mission and vision.
