I worked at CIBT full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Offices are located in good locations, some of managers in different locations are nice and try to improve bad image of the company.

    Cons

Money oriented, CEO and the most of the management team do not care of customers. Employees are just a numbers.

    Advice to Management

Money can’t buy happiness, employees are not robots

I have been working at CIBT full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My co workers are very nice

    Cons

They are all rah rah about customer service scores, but no one makes bonus. They don't care if they over work you. They don't care if you actually make people happy. The Director sits in their office doing nothing at all. Other agents mess up but there are no repercussions

I worked at CIBT full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits were better then some of my employers but that it.

    Cons

Think twice about accepting a postion with CIBT. As a former member of management you will just be another number to them and they will work you to the bone without giving you a single thank you. They thank good hard working staff by giving them more work to do. They stress to you that you need to work 8 hours but give you a 10 hour work load and expect everything done and done correctly at the end of your 8 hour shift.

    Advice to Management

Treat your staff better and maybe you will not be disliked by every government agency that you work with.

I worked at CIBT full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Only pro to this job is off on weekends , I predict this company shutting down after 2 years, poor management . They need to take a business 101 class

    Cons

The pay is laughable & not worth the time when you still get thrown under the bus for mistakes , they complain about when your late 5-10 minutes but have no issue if you stay after 5pm. The work is not doable , 10 orders a day adds up , can't give good customer service when you're dealing with 100 people after 2 weeks.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring random people off the streets & stop playing favorites, fix the concierge system , no agent should have a role as just making thank you calls while other agents slave over 10 orders a day with 33,000 a year, at this rate I predict company shutting down in 2 years from everyone quitting

I worked at CIBT full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Can't think of many. Location is in the heart of the city

    Cons

Management is terrible. They spend all day complaining about a system they enforce that is completely broken and messy.
Very underpaid for the amount of work consultants and specialists do.
They will overwork you and do not seem to have respect for your quality of living at all.
    My office was understaff
CEO seems to be extremely unaware of how to run a company
    Negative environment
DISRESPECTFUL COWORKERS, borderline bullying in my personal experience

    Advice to Management

Treat people with respect and work time management and organization with consultants

I worked at CIBT (More than a year)

    Pros

Can't think of any...The location could be one (Midtown is easy to commute)

    Cons

    1. Toxic work space, the workload is heavy with the limited hourly salary.
    2. The management never care about employees. Just experience for a few days and make your decision later...
    3. People talk about each other in the back. The hard working ones always cover the "lazy" ones (Hourly based dilemma). Terrible office culture here
    4. Honestly, this place is the modern day "slavery"....
    5. No upward mobility at all, don't work here unless you can't get job in anywhere else

    Advice to Management

    treat your employees like human
