    Pros

Good location, long- ime coworkers are professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Not much else to say here.

    Cons

Continuous corporate upheaval and downsizing; Senior management knowledge gaps and mistimed business line sell- offs result in consultant costs higher than that of departed employees.

I have been working at CIT full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are great people who work here.

    Cons

CIT needs to catch up with other financial institutions, especially IT. I've been here for almost a year and they are not up to par and far behind other banks.

    Advice to Management

Invest in technology and also take a look at other organizations in the same space that are successful.

    Pros

The leadership is transparent; there are many groups that you can work with to make a difference and I feel that my voice is heard. They go out of their way to recognize the good things that people do and in my department at least we have a lot of fun doing it.

    Cons

There are some people that will never be happy and should just go work somewhere else, they just bring the rest of us down. Thankfully it is only a small group because most of the people here are so much better than the place I used to work for.

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of the complainers.

I have been working at CIT full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Ability to work from home for some positions

    Cons

Ever since they bought the CA bank everything has gone down hill. They continue to increase our premiums for insurance with ridiculously high deductibles. Upper management is a joke. They lie and have zero respect or regard for the employees. Several departments are understaffed and there is no sign of hiring anyone. Unusual stories come up all the time about upper management and unethical behavior. A lot of upper management appears to be jumping ship right before a big audit. There is no work life balance. I could go on and on. This company seems to be on the verge of a huge meltdown or lawsuit.

    Advice to Management

Respect your employees; stop the unethical behavior; sell the CA bank
