I have been working at CIT full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Smaller company, newer leadership. depending on what happens in near future, possible growth opportunities.

    Cons

Alot of different fires being put out at once. leadership operates in vacuum.

    Advice to Management

Change was made at the director level, the next level down can use some new faces and ideas. many of the same approaches being attempted by VP levels and middle management.

I have been working at CIT full-time

    Pros

I would say salary but no dollar amount is worth this experience

    Cons

Top to bottom management is recycled "old" discarded resources from the industry. COMPANY IS SOON TO BE SOLD OFF.

    Advice to Management

Adopt a high value system and integrity.

I have been working at CIT full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

On Site cafeteria and not a very stressful environment

    Cons

company is looking to sell itself or something because you can see the dysfunctional management, most directors don't leave their cabins or offices and teams work in silos, there is no team spirit or team building effort, corruption exists in their data operations and directors favoring certain resource providers over others for personal gain, perhaps

I have been working at CIT full-time

    Pros

Very little to speak of. What was there has been reduced each year.

    Cons

Work/Life balance depends on department but is mostly non-existent. Company doesn't care about its employees. The work environment is very toxic now that they are selling off most of their profitable business segments. No one trusts what management says anymore.

    Advice to Management

You pretend to speak about teamwork by giving out BS Chairperson awards to someone who prepares a spreadsheet or answers a customers question. Everyone knows this is nonsense so stop it already. Tell everyone exactly what is going on at CIT- you are either trying to position the company for sale or you are selling everything of value and then planning to close down without any notice.

I have been working at CIT full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Really none to speak of other than some great co-workers.

    Cons

Way too many. Most benefits, including 401(k) match, reduced each year, large layoffs of good people while incompetent management is left to run things into the ground, lack of basic office supplies, restrictions on travel and conference attendance, plus many many more.

    Advice to Management

Just make the decision whether you want to sell the company or kill it!
Everyone here knows these are your only options. You changed your cost cutting directive from $125M to $150M without a word and to meet this objective there are waves of layoffs planned.
Things are spinning out of control and no one seems to care!
