The corp structure is relatively simple as compare to some other Banks. You will have opportunity to work with senior management.

Too much politics within the finance teams.

    Advice to Management

May formal policy for flexible work hours and give employees opportunity to work remotely.

I worked at CIT as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company itself seemed to have fairly good culture, and my coworkers were all friendly and helpful. The internship program in general was well-structured and we had several events like lunches with higher-ups and other development opportunities. Pay was pretty good for an internship.

    Cons

At least in my case, my main issue was that I didn't have enough meaningful work to do; a lot of the time I was just twiddling my thumbs. I think the team I was hired into was somewhat unprepared for my arrival and didn't have enough things ready for me or general tasks for me to contribute to in a meaningful way.

    Advice to Management

For interns in general, it would be good to prepare more prior to arrival; I and several other interns didn't have access to vital things like phones and computers early on, and I also lacked the necessary permissions for a tool necessary for the project I was hired for.
