    Current Employee - Shift-Supervisor

I have been working at CITYMD full-time

    Pros

Opportunity for overtime , good exposure to medical field if interested in MD, PA or NP programs, great opportunities to network with healthcare professionals

    Cons

Medical benefits are horrible, company is growing faster than what they can keep up with i.e. constantly understaffed and having to pull people from other sites last minute to compensate for the lack of staff.....bottom line is you're over worked and underpaid but it's a job that will get your feet wet in the healthcare field.

I have been working at CITYMD full-time

    Pros

    - Great stepping stone into the medical field - Work directly with physicians and PAs Only work here if you wish to become a PA/physician yourself

    Cons

    - Many, many physicians and PAs are rude, awful and will speak down to you - Long hours - Horrible pay - Work overload (Neither the physicians, PAs, medical assistant or X-ray tech do as much work as the scribes)

    I worked at CITYMD part-time

    Pros

    Exposure to the medical field

    Cons

Other scribe employees were useless. They should hire employees with actual medical knowledge instead of people who seem to have communication skills. Easy to tell that they prefer value extroverts over actual ability to complete the job.
