Bring back junction functions. The culture is what kept my at CJ for so long.

    Pros

Open to employees from different lines of business. Very fun atmosphere. Great chance to learn affiliate marketing and begin a career in a growing industry.

    Cons

Hard to advance. Won't advance without degree. Work environment can be bogged down with a number of people who are happy doing just enough to get by.

    Advice to Management

Really take a look at salaries to become competitive. Open a shop in the North West where a large and growing number of your clients are based, which would also give employees a less expensive place to live.

    Pros

The best reason to work at CJ is this: the people. Spending yoru days with the smartest, funniest, most-charming bunch of hardworkers is not a bad way to spend a day in a Herman Miller chair. People truly seek to recognize what is great in each other and learn to find it in themselves with the support of management. I feel like we have a standard of integrity here that even our sister offices do not have, a level of...

    Cons

Do not be attached to technology deveoplment if you want to be happy here- be attached to relationships and creative thinking and you will be happiest.

    Advice to Management

Consider that your customer can't always know what they need because they can only see what needs to be done today. You have to look forward FOR them if you want to really provide a valueable service- show them how they can sustain their business not just today. but over time. Humility is what breeds loyalty. Kerri Pollard is truly rising to the occassion in every way; i would hope her example of leadership and care...

    Pros

Great affiliate network that promotes learning and collaboration. The training is thorough and whatever you don't learn through training you can certainly learn from all the talented and intelligent individuals that work there.

    Cons

Their offices are typically not in city centers making it a difficult commute. It is a niche industry, therefore working in affiliate can be a good and bad thing. Also, management changes frequently and a clear vision for the company has not been communicated as of yet. This makes it very difficult to know what you're working towards as a company and where you fit in as an employee.

    Advice to Management

It's not how many hours one works, it's the amount and quality of their output that you should be looking at. Perception of an individuals contribution to the company seems to be based on the time spent in the office as oppose to the actual work that a competent employee does.
