Friendly staff and great team. Can't say enough nice things about the management and the effort they put forward. Great product for the clients and feels rewarding to contribute to such a large part of the economy.

Cons

The company refuses to pay a wage that reflects the work you do and the profit they generate. They are perpetually under staffed due to this and the ever increasing workload they put their employees under due to fantastic returns on work. A dedicated employee can easily earn this company their yearly wage in a month. Some of their star agents will make their salary in a day. However they never reflect that back onto the agents themselves. Greedy top management that you never see because they work in another state.

I had the pleasure of working with an exceptional group of individuals at CLC. The management is always looking for ways to improve and does their best to listen, and promptly respond, to employee needs. I felt valued, appreciated, and part of the CLC family. I left because I was offered a different opportunity that provided more flexibility for my family, but I will always be grateful for what I learned and the people I met during my time there.

Cons

They didn't offer direct deposit, which created an inconvenience if I was out of the office on paydays. However, HR personnel were gracious and mailed the check to my home if I requested them to.

Pros

The work at CLC regarding the financial wellness industry is really fascinating. They definitely have a "family" vibe to the company which allows employees to feel like they fit in very quickly however with the company being relatively small, be prepared to wear a variety of hats and take on projects that may or may not be beyond the scope of your pay grade or job title. (which can be very cool but also overwhelming). Other pros include: free parking, 401k matching, PTO, and great Roseville location.

Cons

Based upon my experience and discussions with other employees, CLC has a reputation for underpaying staff based upon the industry standards which leads to high turnover in certain departments.
