I have been working at CLEAResult full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

CLEAResult promotes an environment where each office location can run like a small business, and that gives local leadership a lot of leniency to motivate their teams in ways that are most appropriate for them. If you have a great local leader(s), then you have a much more satisfying work environment. Additionally, C-suite leaders support the idea that clients drive our business, and their wants/needs come before our own bottom line. This enables local leaders to be flexible to meet client needs. Regarding benefits, there are strong guidelines for wide pay bands that enable leaders to compensate employees based on level of skills and tenure. Insurance is competitive for other companies that are similar in size (based on what I've seen), and the vacation policy is very liberal. This allows leaders to reward employees with additional days off as a reward for quality performance above and beyond the call of duty. I have recruited friends to come to work at our company, and have been pleased with my growth opportunities. Anyone willing to engage, train, prepare and look for opportunities will find them. There is definite growth potential for careers at many levels/capabilities/experiences.

    Cons

The C-suite is disconnected from teams closest to our clients. They are located disparately across the country, and they along with VPs rarely connect with employees and clients in-person. A majority of the work within the company is based on contract renewals, so there is a fair risk of layoffs or restructuring at each renewal term. This can make some individuals uncomfortable.

I have been working at CLEAResult for less than a year

    Pros

Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and very friendly environment.

    Cons

No cons, so far - seriously. I'm sure Clearesult has some bad pockets in it here and there, but this is an amazing job, an amazing opportunity

I worked at CLEAResult full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Hardly any upsides. Maybe you learn some about the energy efficiency industry, if you're into that kind of thing...

    Cons

    – Toxic culture – Fear factor to drive productivity – Absent, neglectful leadership – No autonomy to think outside the box or redefine workflow – No accountability or follow-through for new initiatives – Soul-crushing, stale, outdated work environment – Generally low morale across the board

I worked at CLEAResult full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Energy efficiency work is rewarding.

    Cons

High stress work environment. Not enough people to get the job done for clients. Hard work is not rewarded and the people who made this company what is once was have left or are leaving.

I have been working at CLEAResult full-time

    Pros

    - Paycheck (though I have experienced the occasional snafu with payroll) - Flexibility for some employees - Small pockets of effective management here and there that try to make up for the poor leadership, culture and processes that permeate the organization - The ultimate result of our work—reducing energy waste—is admirable and important

    Cons

    - Incredibly poor culture and low morale across the organization—truly the worst in my career. Imagine going to work every day with a group of people who know they are nothing more than a number to the company they work for, are not provided with tools, technologies and resources to do their jobs effectively, and are faced with fledgling, ever-changing, and finger-pointing leadership. You either have to become apathetic to it or get out. It’s toxic, and that’s what it feels like to work at CLEAResult. - Profit over people is the way of life at CLEAResult—and the organization really makes this known. No decision is made by putting their people first, and employees are nothing more than the utilization rate they can painstakingly squeeze out of you and the unrealistic new business targets you can hit (which by the way, unless you have “business development” in your title, you’ll never see the bonus for new work you bring in the door—that will go to someone else who played no part in the win, but will happily pick up a bonus check for your efforts). The company forces people to juggle unmanageable workloads and works people past the point of burnout if it can save them a few pennies, rather than hiring the right people to support the work at hand. - Regional teams and service line employees are constantly forced to reinvent the wheel with insufficient resources (whether that’s staff, technology, tools, training, etc.), leading to a frustrating, chaotic work environment where everyone is just trying to make it work and do their best for their clients without sufficient support from the greater organization. - Annual pay increases are laughable, career development opportunities are few and far between, and they have made it nearly impossible to earn the annual bonus—which also doesn’t sync with your personal contributions or successes, so you really have no way to take ownership of your bonus potential. Top it off with poor vacation policies and average-at-best benefits and it’s easy to see they have no true interest in being an “employer of choice” as they sometime like to say. - Successes and wins are rarely celebrated and little things like work anniversaries, birthdays, holidays or anything else that’s non-billable are often overlooked. These things seem small—but it all contributes to employees feeling like nothing more than an undervalued cog in the system. In short: It’s a paycheck, but if you are looking to lend your time and talents to an organization that will value, respect and support you, you can certainly do better for yourself than CLEAResult.

I worked at CLEAResult full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-Casual Attire -Flexible Start/End times -Free Soft Drinks -Decent Benefits (but get worse each year) *Within the IPC

    Cons

All of these issues are from personal experience or were personally witnessed, none is based off hearsay: -Hostile, self-serving and incompetent management/supervisors. -Lack of competent leadership and planning results in forced overtime (10 hour days) for 1/4-1/3 of the year. Including weekend shifts. -Leadership (in all forms) works only to help themselves, they actively and willfully ignore and bury problems, they use their employees to further their own agendas, lie whenever it serves them and will lay blame on anyone and everyone else (usually a subordinate) which has occasionally led to those employees being fired. -The further down the corporate ladder you are, the more you are taken advantage of, the worse you are treated and the less you are protected. -HR does not work equally to protect all company employees, HR works to protect the company and those employees perceived as having more value to the company. HR will make [poor] excuses for the behavior of management and will do nothing unless to help you unless your problem is related to paychecks, leave or insurance. -In any given situation, no matter who is responsible for a particular problem, if you are not the ranking employee, it will be your fault and you will be [officially] reprimanded. -If you try to improve your (and your co-workers) situation, treatment, etc. within the company, you will be targeted, harassed, written up without cause, have lies told about you to other departments, your programs and goals changed and your work environment made intolerable until they find cause to fire you or you quit. -Poor training. -Poor planning: Implementation of new and untested software or procedures during high volume quarters and on large programs which inevitably results in a marked decrease in production, increase in crashes and forced overtime. -Open and casual harassment, discrimination and gossip about/towards subordinate employees by leadership. -Blatant favoritism by management. E.G.: management taking daily breaks with certain employees, while ignoring or being openly hostile toward others. -If you associate with company management/leadership outside the office, you do not have to follow the rules in the office. E.G.: 15-20 minute breaks every hour as opposed to 2-15 minute breaks per day. *Certain employees are able to leave their desk for 30-40 minutes at a time 4-5 times a day with no repercussions. -Will keep temp workers on for months or years, but refuses to hire them as permanent employees to avoid providing benefits, sick/vacation/personal days, a 401k, etc.. -Temp employees will be derisively referred to as 'Temps' to their face whenever leadership has a problem/issue with them, valid or not. -Very little opportunity for advancement, especially without a degree. But degrees are still second to social standing with management.

    Pros

pay is decent for what you do, but don't expect a raise. flexible hours health benefits are pretty good if you want to stay in data entry or entry level job your whole life, this is the place for you.

    Cons

don't waste your time here. all those positive reviews you see on this site that are recent are fake (they must be desperate) as an attractive female here, i feel overlooked for that EXACT reason. sexism and racism run rampant despite their claims this isn't happening. high school work environment and pettiness that is extremely toxic. hard work isn't rewarded, only sucking up is. managers want to hold you back instead of helping you succeed
