I have been working at CLP Resources part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

CLP gives you the opportunity to get more experience in your trade.

    Cons

Pay is below average. Little or no work at weeks at a time. Sometimes months.

    Advice to Management

Try harder to keep the dedicated workers working. The workers who get the company out of pinches whenever needed.

I worked at CLP Resources (More than a year)

    Pros

Usually pretty good at placing you at a job site relatively quickly. When jobs end there is usually another available right after so there's not much of a waiting game.

    Cons

Communication lacking; if a company decides to cut bait with a worker before the project is over, no reason is given. I took 2 days off when my son was born and instead of calling to congratulate me they called to see how much longer I was going to be out.

    Pros

Representatives are good listeners. Make applying for jobs easy.

    Cons

They're representatives fail to clarify roles and aren't that friendly or approachable.. Theyre representatives flat out don't give a damn. They don't care about the construction industry and young tradesmans futures.

    Advice to Management

Include entire weekly earnings in one paycheck. Don't wait for me to ask for my paycheck just mail it. Let me know Walmart won't accept your checks.
