    The open management style and very personable staff

    Pros

    Great ability to grow. Good leadership. The leadership is working to set the company up for growth. There is never a lack of positive support

    Cons

    Leadership drags there feet and over thinks many decisions. Analysis does need to be involved in what type of paper we should use just by the paper

    Advice to Management

    Growth requires expense. Adding additional staff to support the growth is a must. HR, accounting and IT is very short staffed

    Pros

    CMH Services is a company with integrity. We believe in building relationships with our customers and vendors. Low employee turn over rate. The employees are people you want to call your friends.

    Family owned business; Open book management style; Open door policy; Strategic planning; Good wages; Co-workers treat each other like family; Like to promote from within

    Cons

    Due to the size of the company, it can take some time to be promoted. We have 1 A/P, 1 A/R, 1 GL Accountant, 1 Accounting Manager, etc.

    Advice to Management

    As we continue to grow, do not lose sight that our most important asset is our employees. Need employee/spouse and employee/family events planned

    Pros

    CMH Services is a great small-to-medium sized business that legitimately cares about its people and is intentional about its culture. I have worked at smaller companies that have an immature, frat-like atmosphere, so it's great to work at a business like CMHS that is professional and ethical. The annual review process for associates is fair and adhered to. Expectations are clear, and, due to the size of the business, there is a lot of opportunity to make an impact.

    Cons

    Most of the negatives are things fairly typical for an employer this size - a modest benefits package with an adequate (but not great) company match on the 401k. Opportunities for advancement and growth are not clearly defined unless you take a more proactive approach in your career path/development.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to invest in high performers and the business.
