    I have been working at CMIT full-time

    Pros

    Freedom, Flexible Hours, Small Company. Do not have tons of rules and regulations. Fast paced work environment. Cutting Edge Technology. Ability to learn on the job. Ability to earn IT certifications. Ability to work from home.

    Cons

    Can be long hours & sometimes later in evenings or weekends. Challenging work environment at times. Managing demanding customers who want things done quickly. Change is constant & must be able to adapt to this. Must be dependable & accountable.

    Everything. Constant travel. The endpoint biz is a soul sucking nightmare.

    Pros

    Exposure to a wide range of leading technology and systems that serve the SMB market. Casual tightly knit team that works hard and has fun. Lots of opportunities to learn and grow both technical skills and professional skills. Entrepreneurial and focused on achieving for ourselves and our clients. Small local team that works with 800+ other professionals nationally.

    Cons

    Located in Stamford. It's a bear to commute in during regular hours.

    Pros

    People are great and fun to work with. Lots of exposure to a variety of technologies and user skill levels.

    Cons

    The chaotic nature of the MSP company makes it unpredictable for issues day to day. putting out fires can be taxing.

    The people in the system are great. Growing company that has a community of great people.

    Free lunches on Friday, if you time was up to date
    Free sodas

    Cons

    Every minute of every day had to be accounted for.
    Owners only cared about making money, not about employee satisfaction
    No insurance offerings

    Advice to Management

    Focus more on employee growth, and less on your pocketbook growth.

    Fast paced always busy. Support a lot of really great people/customers.

    Cons

    Not enough time\documentation to learn customer support structuring.
    Mgr always belittling employees.

    I have been working at CMIT (More than a year)

    Pros

    Working in a small group is great. I see the fruit of my labor are appreciated. The owner of my company is amazing and kind. I have tons of freedom to develop business. I work on a great team. I get pay commensurate to my efforts. Good salary and better commissions as I build the business. All of the clients I have put on the books are still clients. Reliable staff of engineers to do what I am promising. Fantastic office staff. My owner is attentive and involved. I love working at CMIT.

    Not a single thing at all!

    Advice to Management

    No health insurance, but I get it through Obamacare.
