    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at CN

    Pros

Flexible hours and easy to work from home when needed. Helps maintain work-life balance.

    Cons

Management must work in the field, on trains during strike situations as well as when there are shortages in operations. Training is given for field ops but as it is not your day job, you will not feel safe running the trains.

    Advice to Management

Do away with forcing management to work in the field.

    Pros

Great colleagues. As simple as that... we had great fun and big laughs, even with bad weather

    Cons

Yeah, things are changing. Not for the better. Colleagues still great, it’s the management that’s the issue. Safety is the reason I left.

    Advice to Management

Change. Now. Make people happy. Be safe(r)

I have been working at CN

    Pros

Excellent pay for long term consultants

    Cons

disorganized chaos at PMO office and incompetent managers in between

    Advice to Management

Grow the management level from below, not bring in new people to be managers. The new management just become extensions of people above with no understanding of the people below.
