    Freedom and lack of interference, opportunity to travel and meet the best people in the industry.

    Cons

    Outright plagiarism and shoddy news stories, heavy centralization of decision-making, lack of news sense and lack of a meritocratic system

    Lots of responsibility, great brand name, interesting work

    No support or training, chaotic, low salaries, very stressful, inappropriate behavior by some upper level management.

    Advice to Management

    Instead of being so focused on fast-tracking your own careers, find some time to serve as mentors to the younger staff.
