    I worked at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time

    Pros

Learned a lot about programs and systems that are being used in the manufacturing companies, their marketing tools, and how to network while on projects. Benefits are decent, vacation/holiday time off is generous.

    Cons

Workplace moral is low. Can be difficult to move and grow within the company. Bonuses are rare as well as pay increases. Amount of work expected to be completed within a 40 hour work week can be unrealistic and overwhelming, especially for someone with a family at home. Not all department receive the same privileges though they are advised as company-wide.

    Advice to Management

Learn the job duties of their employees. Offer flexible schedule incentives year round. Listen to concerns of employees and ACT on resolutions.

I worked at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Laid back work environment.
    - Friendly and knowledgeable co-workers and mentors.
    - Everyone helps each other.
    - This location is not union so you can work on machines and your own designs in the shop.

    Cons

    - Not a lot of opportunity for advancement.
    - Year long probationary period for benefits when starting out.
    - Average pay.

    Advice to Management

Continue doing what you are doing. I felt valued and was given great opportunities to give input on machine design and function. It was great working there, but due to the volatile fluctuations in the Ag industry and the average pay there were better opportunities elsewhere.

I worked at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good Pay, Good Benefits. Mostly good people throughout the organization regardless of location. Workforce has an element of pride about the job they are doing. Lots of long time employees and they are willing to share their experience for your gain. 17 days off and superb 401(k) plan. Medical Insurance is better than average.

    Cons

Very demanding work environment. Eventually you learn that you can only do so much. They staff slim so a lot of responsibility is available if you desire, but adds to stress. Nearly everyone has a long work week with attention needing to paid to matters on vacation or weekends. Expectations are unrealistic at times. Lots of politics and European management that does not always work in the North American labor market.

    Advice to Management

Operate NAFTA operation independently. Carefully hire those in positions of influence. Don't always rely on the good boys club. Show some actual care for your employees and let managers run their business without trouble from human resources. Stop wasting money by doing things inefficiently on purpose

I worked at CNH Industrial N.V. as an intern

    Pros

I was fortunate enough to have one of the better internships, which I found out after comparing job descriptions with other interns. I was able to work directly with the marketing team to produce new manuscripts for both field teams and dealer personnel, while traveling and attending farm shows. Overall, I had an incredible experience.

    Cons

There is a certain ebb and flow to things in the office that take some getting used to, mainly because a lot of the employees have been there for a long time and have a set way of doing things. Because of this, is it somewhat challenging to grasp the strategies; especially since I wasn't in the office all that often.

    Advice to Management

It is very easy to get burnt out, especially if having to report to multiple people. I was reporting to at least 4 different people at any given time, all with different project types and styles of language, production, and execution; so it became difficult for me once I was constantly traveling and having to do multiple projects at once while still completing my field work.

I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

-It is very fulfilling to be apart of something that is so big in the upper Midwest and in the world.
-There is an opportunity for advancement.
    -Good pay for the area

    Cons

-Shop floor moral is very low which a lot of times creates a bad working environment
-It seems management would rather work a smaller production team 6-7 days a week at 10-11 hours a shift then hire more people on to absorb the extra work

    Advice to Management

Remember to consider the practicality of an idea when making lean or World Class Manufacturing (WCM) improvements, just because it may look good on paper doesn't mean it makes everyone's job more easy.
