    Poor career advancement, lack of respect for employees by senior management

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees. Stop using European employees when you have good talent in the U.S. Huge waste of company resources and counter-productive.

    Pros

    The money and benefits are good.

    Cons

    Management is extremely incompetent. Cliquey, two-faced, backstabbing people to work with. If you like to be severely overworked and underappreciated, this is the place for you! No direction, no training, HIGH expectations. Company Bullies run the show.

    Advice to Management

    Come back down to reality. It is only because of the overworked staff that is afraid to say anything because they need a paycheck that this company is still running. Management acts like it cares for about 5 minutes.

    Pros

    Fun place to build quality tractors although the production manager said he was okay with the quality when upper managers said they were not.

    Cons

    CNH Changed plant managers every year and still no improvement to how the product was scheduled and the results on the floor.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it simple and build a better tractor. Listen to what the supervisors are saying and go to plan to the plant floor and see how things are done.

    Time off at X-mas and New Year

    Lousy pay, lousy benefits and lousy management.

    Advice to Management

    Bottom up, not top down is better way to manage.

    Pros

    -Job pays the bills and mortgage
    -Health Insurance
    -Dental Insurance
    -Life Insurance
    -Ok Pay for Community

    Cons

    -Management is very poor.
    -Bully/harass employees instead of being helpful.
    -Make employees do jobs they were not hired for or trained in.
    -If you disagree with Management, you are fired.
    -Too many tiers of management for company.
    -No respect from management to employees!!
    -Supervisors that don’t know how to supervise.
    -Don’t hire from within for Supervisor/Lead positions!
    -Advertise jobs, takes weeks to hear back, no interview for job even if you are well qualified, then give job to someone else who has no previous experience in that department!
    -3 HR people and we still don’t know what they do!!
    -World Class Manufacturing??? Waste of money!!!!
    -Unsafe place to work!!
    -Worried more about quantity than quality!
    -Work 12 hour days and weekends!
    -Always running out of parts!!!!
    -Paying suppliers late or not at all!
    -They only have 1 supplier per part!! Should have 2 suppliers, if 1 cant make item other can!!!
    -Lots of promises they never deliver on!!!!
    -Very bureaucratic!!
    -Vacation is frozen for use in July, when company is shut down!!
    -Employee morale is VERY VERY low!!!
    -Lots of red tape!!!
    -If you are strong willed, don’t work here!! You are to sit back and just take the abuse!!!
    -High employee turnover!!!

    Advice to Management

    Wake up!!! Look around!! Listen to your employees!!! Even if you are in charge, does not make you right all the time!!!! Treat your employees with respect and get over yourself!!! Instead of bitching at the employees or staring at them to get them to move faster, jump in and help!! Hire from within!! Then management would know how things really work on the floor. A company is supposed to work as a team!!

    Pros

    decent benefits (if you stay long enough to be vested 1 -5 years) many don't and therefore CNH keeps contributions to 401k and health plan accounts without paying to employees.

    Cons

    few women in management. negative environment. unpleasant. not safe to walk to your car alone after dark in corporate/main office. review evaluation/bonus process is not explained - they do what they want.

    Advice to Management

    find out why your turnover is so high and fix the problems

    standing on feet for 10 to 12 hours a day, having to work lots of overtime. Treated unfairly,

    Thought HR was for the people not to bust them down and they do what they want to them. Even HR has way to much power over our management.

    Pros

    401k,vacation,medical benefits,basically it,s a paycheck & insurance coverage

    Cons

    unrealistic producttion rates to the job properly,more into quantity vs.quality.repeating everything in spanish offer 1 time english classes,after that no more translation we don,t do it for all ethnics ? why just 1.rather give an asociate a lateral move to a position that involves no pay increase than a qualified associate.eliminating shifts & positions thererfore decreasing pay,no raises,everyone should recieve a raise not just the majority the one,s who don,t have topped out at there pay level should be across the board raise despite how long you,ve been there advancing associates without job postings.

    Advice to Management

    revert back to 3rd.party logistics running it,communicate with employees on business updates thru scheduled all employee meetings.eliminate the employee satisfaction survey or take it to heart & make changes otherwise it,s a waste of time.

    I worked at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The pay and bonus structure is above average for the area. Workers on shop floor are eager to help with continuous improvement projects.

    Cons

    The plant management has no direction and is self-serving. They think they are much smarter than they really are. Napoleon complex.

    Advice to Management

    Go into politics where backstabbing and lies are common place. Watch your back you might find a knife in it.
