I have been working at CNI full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay is decent and hours are fair if you don't mind going every day constantly criticized.

    Cons

I work in Niceville. Management is horrible. Unless you are in the click you can forget about anything fair. I have been on a helpdesk over 10 years. This is a joke. Overall management in OK does not know what it's doing. How they snowed the FAA to get this contract I will never know. Management in Niceville has taken a huge turn for the worst over the last year. On our third manager. No place for advancement unless you move to Oklahoma.

    Advice to Management

Find the bad apples. Throw them out. Run your call center the way it should be done.

    Pros

Contractor position at MMAC with FAA. Pay was excellent. Coworkers were fun.

    Cons

Awful politics. Power hungry people. CNI took over our contract and made major pay cuts. Ran a lot of senior engineers away.

I have been working at CNI full-time

    Pros

    Laid Back type of Environment

    Cons

No raises., work with short staff, no recognition for hard work, benefits are bad. management only looks out for themselves. Facilities are poorly ventilated. Once your there you have a feeling of being stuck. The pay isn't great for all the work that is done. Equipment is old. Not to mention Vacation time doesn't exist unless your management.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your team

  7. "Company with good people and benefits, on-boarding experience could have been better"

I have been working at CNI full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Employees are nice and my program manager is very responsive/helpful.

    Cons

I did not have a great experience with the on-boarding process. My project was awarded to CNI after working on it for 2 years through another consulting firm so I had to switch over if I wanted to continue on my project. I had different people call me to discuss the transition but there wasn't great communication between the hiring managers. I was offered a salary that was below what I was getting at the time for the same project. There was no room for negotiation and they were too aggressive with getting a response immediately. I was dedicated to my client and the project so I transitioned over, but I have never experienced this problem at other firms.

I have been working at CNI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of Kool-Aid to drink when you first start
Great environment, culture, and work ethic
Tight knit relationships are easily built with team members
Recruiters do a good job of hiring able bodied people that don't need to be babysat
Although work/life balance is severely skewed, team members are always willing to help each other out to get the job done.

    Cons

Lots of Kool-Aid to drink when you first start
A lot of office drama and politics, seems like I'm back in high school
So many meetings, have to stay late to catch up on work because there are meetings all the time
    Nepotism

    Advice to Management

More transparency between management and the workforce and more communication, especially between departments.

Also, less talking and more doing, sometimes it feels like nothing ever gets done because there are back to back meetings all day for multiple days in a row
