Not what it’s cracked up to be
Oct 1, 2022 - Manager in Woodland Hills, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
competitive cash pay and bonus. Smart coworkers. Variety of projects
Cons
The Partners are a clique and don’t listen to employees. Partners are not open minded to doing things differently, even in cases where it’s for a service line they hired expertise for. Good people constantly leave. While cash pay is good, benefits lack, and pto policy is not competitive. They only give 3 weeks of pto while big 4 and other firms all offer 5+ weeks. They do a holiday shut down but so does the big 4. The big 4 also has does a summer week long break now.If you ever question the way a Partner thinks about doing things or challenge to think about something differently you will not be successful. If you go with the flow, you will probably be fine. They will say how their culture is work life balance and how bad the big 4 is. It’s funny they say that as most of the partners haven’t worked in the big 4 for 20 years, and the firms are different now.

Pros
Minimal to no pros for working within the Orange County office.
Cons
Will work with some of the most pompous and arrogant people. Avoid this place at all costs. Will be sold on a completely fake work environment / culture that just simply doesn’t exist. Good luck on expecting not to have to work overtime when you’re receiving emails at all hours of the day. Expectation will be to complete tasks within an unreasonable timeframe.
