I worked at CONMED Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice people, plenty of OT, nice facility. Nice pay.

    Cons

Upper Management is clueless, too many engineers not enough workers. More office people, engineers and managers than personnel who actually work.

    Advice to Management

Who are you? been there quite a while and don't even who you are!!! Managers should spend less time in you benz or hanging out in the cafeteria hitting on the female interns.
And what does Dean Rock do? what does he know? My answer would be nothing.

    Pros

Great people and great products. A company in growth mode with hopefully most of their employee changes behind them.

    Cons

Not a large marketshare vendor, so can be very difficult to sell their products whether on a GPO contract or not.

    Advice to Management

Slow down on so many employee changes. Need time to see if the few changes are going to work. Your company is in growth mode, and you need some people that know the products to hang around and teach the new folks. It takes years to build relationships with customers
