I worked at CORE Education & Consulting Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are no pros, except that I gained experience and it gave me a job.

    Cons

The company makes illegal decisions that put certain departments in very uncomfortable situations as the front line to employees. When the company doesn't have the money to cover payroll and is selective over who gets paid this week and who doesn't it it shows the type of morals the company has (none). Maybe if better business decisions and better strategies to cover the losses were put in place, things wouldn't have gotten as bad as they did. I am surprised they are still in business, this company should have filed for Bankruptcy years ago when they started losing money.

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees make different moral choices that shows you care about the employees.

    Pros

moved up quickly because people were fired or left often

    Cons

In 4 years, had 3 different presidents, several closures, constant layoffs, management had no idea what they were doing, they tossed their employees to the side.

    Advice to Management

None, because they closed our dept.

    Pros

The people of the company (other than senior leadership) were very nice to work with.

Senior Leadership was very snooty, paid one-third of the market and did not believe in retaining their staff.

    Pros

The only real pro for working with Core is that it will keep your resume without any gaps in employment for extended periods.

    Cons

Not the most professional environment and not any real opportunities to learn as no one in management or on staff has ever really done anything outstanding in the industry or business in general.

    Advice to Management

Any advice seems to unfortunately fall on deaf ears. I would recommend an internal audit. Many levels of management that seem redundant and still no true leader or expert that can help develop staff and company as a whole.
