    Pros

    This is a great place to work, where there is absolutely no discrimination in gender or ethnic group. Fast paced, high quality work expectations. Brilliant people.

    Cons

    Lack of feeling of job security due to company restructuring and future sale.

    Advice to Management

    Address job security concerns.

    * Great company culture
    * Awesome employees with smart ideas and good work ethics ...and know how to have fun
    * Decent compensation package, not the best, but not the worst either
    * Opportunity to work with some newer technology and exciting projects
    * Plenty of work to keep everyone busy
    * Exciting direction possibilities and a visionary leadership

    Cons

    * Senior Leadership is heavily UK based and focused
    * Existing products are not fully understood by key decision makers
    * Career paths are not defined across the company, leaving many employees directionless
    * Product vision and direction are driven from the top down with little regard for input from anyone "in the trenches".

    Advice to Management

    * You have really smart people working for you who have a passion to make things better. Put aside your egos and listen to them.
    * End the silos. Integrate, integrate, integrate!

    Good benefits, a decent working environment, and interesting work.

    Cons

    Internecine quarrels between managers of different teams result in there being heavy office politics to cope with.

    Tactics change frequently. Management is not hands on. Automation is weak.

    Pros

    There's a lot of great people there, some with tons of expertise and deep knowledge.

    Cons

    Silos persist, initiatives lack unified goals, poor priorities in terms of spending and savings. No tuition reimbursement. Transparency needs improvement.

    Advice to Management

    Break up the good old boys' (and girls') clubs. Invest in more professional development such as outside coaches or tuition reimbursement rather than current scheme. Ensure fair compensation and restructure the sales compensation so investment can go into salaries.

    Management needs to listen to employees more; offer more training; stop moving people (and clients) around

    Pros

    New-ish HR team making significant inroads
    Compensation is nice
    IT team is great

    Cons

    - Evident and widely accepted difference in culture between the UK office and US offices. US = quality of work is paramount. UK = quality of life is paramount.
    - Numerous marketing and sales technologies continue to be poorly managed/implemented and do not help the sales organization meet their increasing sales targets.
    -Organizationally, the marketing department is not staffed with the right level of talent to meet modern day marketing standards. The constant failure on simple projects is embarrassing.
    - Management is aware of the above yet refuses to hold people accountable for stepping up to the already low bar.

    Advice to Management

    Hold your marketing leadership to the standards of modern digital marketing best practices. We are operating in the 1990's. Ask for reports to show improvement, not words. Do not praise and promote people because you like them - do it because they have the correct skill set and demonstrated ability.

    • Hire people that fit and invest heavily in them
    • Invest in long term projects (build products "the right way")—iterate
    • Continue to adopt and invest in processes and system that evolve the product line
    • Encourage experimentation (and failure)
    • Keep going and deliver on promises made, we are headed in the right direction!
