I have been working at CPA Global full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I've been working with CPA Global for almost a year and a half now and that "honeymoon" phase of starting a new job still has not worn off. This is one of the best companies and cultures I've worked for. Although I have always been fully remote, my team has always made me feel welcome and included and my manager is very supportive. I've had the opportunity to visit our offices across North America and each one truly lives up to our values. The company response to COVID-19 was very effective and employees have been kept up-to-date from the beginning with regular communications from our C suite. Aside from that, I could go on and on about the pros of working for this company - flexibility, work-life-balance, all of the benefits and other perks offered, the opportunity and encouragement to grow, employee recognition, and so much more. I'm very thankful to have found hopefully my forever home working with CPA Global!

    Cons

I have yet to experience anything negative

I worked at CPA Global full-time for less than a year

    Pros

CPA is very flexible, probably one of the most flexible jobs you'll be able to get

    Cons

Not using much of what I was taught in my engineering classes. Also the pay is low.

I have been working at CPA Global full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Flexibility, dress code, and employee culture are all things I love about working here. I've had the opportunity to grown in directions of my choosing, with support from my manager. I appreciate having the freedom to voice my concerns/grievances without being afraid it'll cost me my job. I know this is not everyone's experience with their direct manager, so for that, I'm grateful. Just a small note from another review, the mention of racism is a bit odd to me, as the Alexandria Office is probably 80% African American; it's one of the first things I noticed when I came here. If they had an experience with racism with particular individuals, that should be definitely be taken serious and noted. I understand that people's experiences are personal and form their views of a company, but to say CPA Global (Alexandria) as a whole is racist just doesn't really fit the reality of the situation here.

    Cons

My personal cons are the constant shift in focus. While I know it happens with growth of a company, it can be a bit jarring when your roles change quickly and you have to adapt. I'm also hoping that they truly are moving forward with upgrading some of our systems, as some are quite old. It would be nice to have systems that are integrated well and reflect the software company we aspire to be.

I have been working at CPA Global

    Pros

Awesome work life balance, understanding flexibility in work schedule - compassion and understanding demonstrated in the face of the Coronavirus outbreak, a strong leadership team with a focus on helping our clients . The people and culture are amazing - an extremely talented bunch!

    Cons

If a company can be too accommodating to people, sometimes CPA is.

I have been working at CPA Global full-time

    Pros

CPA is a place that really cares about its employees. Input is valued and reviewed. The company is growing rapidly and is dealing with some growth pains but dealing with them head on. They have put progressive plans in place that will enable employees to work with better tools. I have never worked for a company that places such a high value on employee satisfaction.

    Cons

The overall compensation plan could be better. The bonus and raise structure need work.

I worked at CPA Global full-time

    Pros

Initial bonus program promised, exposure to senior leadership.

    Cons

The pros above come at a serious cost...I was in charge of North American deal strategy for almost 2 years, regularly averaging more than 50 hours a week and shouting for support and to build out a North American support team considering my workload was reflective for over 70% of the company's global revenue. My hard work was paid off via changing my bonus structure before I was paid out, being told that I was ineligible for a bonus in my first year when my contract stated nothing of the sort and expectations were not communicated, and you have CPA lifer's who run the show at the business's expense to growth and retain talent. It's a joke of a sweatshop. I was let go simply because my workload and lack of compensation (along with the tireless hours) pushed me to the brink of not caring anymore. I was already looking. They had the decency to wait for me to work up 5 deals for over $1M in profits on a 12hr Monday, only to let me go Tuesday AM minutes before my presentation call. Place is a virus and I hope you all are listening. Within the first few week's you'll notice this sentiment ripples across every team in every region. Tax free Jersey saving all the money for themselves, can't wait to have the opportunity to hemorrhage business from CPA and fulfill my desire to work for a competitor for the right reasons leveraging all of their shady internal business practices as reason to steer clear.

I have been working at CPA Global full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good work/life balance. Acceptable pay and reasonable benefits.

    Cons

This is a 50+ year old privately held service company that says they will become a technology company. Very few senior North American leaders have any experience working for technology companies. Many have been with the CPA Global since college and have never worked any place else. These people buy profitable software companies and strip them of vital resources including product development and marketing to increase overall company profits while abandoning any reasonable level of commitment to software product improvement, marketing or thought leadership. Sales people are left to achieve ever increasing targets by prospecting alone on their own with very little hope of achieving sales goals. Existing customers often share frustrations of lack of product improvements and new features. They hire people from technology companies and then do not listen to any input regarding common technology company marketing practices or product reinvestment and common software development to revenue models. They are a Studebaker pretending to be a Ferrari. Looking from the inside, it would be laughable if it wasn't so sad.

I worked at CPA Global full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Starts with 17 vacation/sick days Flexible work hours

    Cons

Regular corporate job, where your just a number. Have extremely high standards of quality work for employees or they will let you go. They only care about the quality of work, they are flexible quantity of work you produce. While there, I seen 12 employees get let go. High turn over. Everyone works on their own.
