I worked at CRN International full-time

    Pros

Coworkers are knowledgeable and team players. Owners are passionate. Generous vacation, personal, sick time. Decent medical etc... Pleasant office environment, and pet friendly. Some flexibility with schedule.

    Cons

Top management is out of touch, self serving, with superior attitude. Promotions based on popularity with inner circle, not merit. The chosen few have more flexibility with schedule, more "working" from home, etc...

    Advice to Management

No need for all the managers, aka "Directors", they are bringing you down. Spend the money on sales, and not departments that don't make money for the company. Listen to the employees that do jobs daily. Dont create jobs for favorites that are not needed.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at CRN International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    You get a paycheck

    Cons

Management is very poor, no motivation, no positive reinforcement. Managers talk down to employees and expect them to work all hours of the night. Management has their favorites and treats everyone else like garbage.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and pay them what they deserve!

    Pros

Management was supportive and there was a strong focus on positive reinforcement plus they really care about their clients and work long and hard to make sure the clients are 100%satisfied.

    Cons

The offices were older and the staff is split between two buildings making it difficult to really get to know coworkers.

I worked at CRN International full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

They work very hard to get their employees good health benefits in a time where that seems impossible. Team environment Ample time off

    Cons

Pay is not competitive , yearly raises are 1% - 2% (not even cost of living) At times they expect a lot of "good, dedicated employees" and very little of under performing employees Need to weed out the bad seeds Lack of attention to minor issues that can resolved easily - management doesn't address issues until they explode Top heavy a lot of managers, supervisors, directors, etc... 11 top level managers to about...

I worked at CRN International full-time

    Pros

Great group of people who really care about their work. They will give you plenty of opportunities to train in other departments.

    Cons

The pay is not very competitive. While they do love promoting from within, raises are minimal for the younger employees.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing a great job and treating your employees well. It was a pleasure to work with you all at CRN.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at CRN International

    Pros

Easygoing, comfortable culture provides optimum setting to generate creative ideas for an impressive, demanding client base. Very caring and people-centric management. Management sees itself as a "thinking" company with employee base always in learning mode. Company has been around quite a while and continues to adapt to today's trends and issues to stay relevant and maintain a nice business.

    Cons

Not the most "linear" organization in the world when it comes to seeing something through. Because of the free flow of ideas, topical trends, and issues of the day, management in many instances is guilty of starting out on a good idea and intelligent course but getting sidetracked and never quite returning to something that seemed important at one time.

    Advice to Management

In order to keep people properly motivated and thinking and creating quality work for customers, take a hard look at the organizational hierarchy, allow people the proper empowerment, and follow through on good ideas rather than letting them linger.
