    Pros

If work for more than 3-4 years and have good rapport with the manager, you will get foreign travel opportunities.

Easy to migrate to other technologies when your are not in project.

    Cons

Don't get appraisals almost every year in USA,even though you got top performance rating.

Be careful when you are not on project,When you manager asked to relocate to different and if you say no for two time straight then you will be fired.

Doesn't have much communication with upper management.

    Advice to Management

Help the employees to grow further by knowing their interests.

I have been working at CSC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I receive a paycheck and still have a job

    Cons

Management has sacrificed everything to enrich themselves. Delivery, sales, and common sense have been thrown out the window to hit an OI ratio that ensures the top levels of the company share in a massive payout from the merger with HPE. A payout that is not being shared with anyone that does the actual work. Stay away!

    Advice to Management

Manage and treat employees like assets, not legos. Share the wealth!

    Pros

They are trying to improve in making deals, which to date have been terrible. Sales people get compensated for signing deals regardless of whether the deals are good or not. Most have been very poor.

    Cons

CSC treats their employees terribly. You are little more than a number. Recently, the CEO announced he will have to approve any hiring of U.S. employees. It's offshoring all the way at CSC.

    Advice to Management

    Treat people with respect.

    Pros

    Great Knowledgeable, Professional employees

    Cons

No commitment to winning business, no investment in bench or center of excellences, no investment in solutions for future. Very caught up in the pending merger to make upper management rich . zero regard for employees and who is adding value .

    Advice to Management

Stop being so merger focused your driving the company intro he dirt.......
look at the people you have , and get involved in how you win ! take a second to look at what are the business needs of the customer. Power Point does not equal a solution !!!!!!
customers are smart and getting smarter Listen to them!!!!

    Pros

    Challenging and interesting work
    Great delivery resources and capabilities
    Great people to work with

    Cons

Executive Management - No leadership, management by spreadsheet
Doesn't value employees - what have you done for me TODAY mentality, prior achievements, trusted client relationships, and utilization count for nothing
Will terminate resources now once a person hits the bench regardless if they've been fully utilized up to that point
No sales growth, only growth by acquistion

    Pros

Depending upon the manager, innovation can be rewarded or ignored. Wide range of internal expertise available to tap into.

    Cons

Billing or nothing mind set hurts innovation.

    Advice to Management

At some stage, 110% focus on billing is counter-productive

    I worked at CSC full-time

    Pros

    Starting pay, remote work opportunity.

    Cons

Benefits, culture (lack thereof), leadership (lack thereof), direction, growth opportunities... I wasn't there long enough to find out, but I hear employees haven't gotten raises in 2+ years. Can't say the same thing about the CEO though.

    Advice to Management

If you want to be a technology company, act like it. ALL of your senior leadership are/were sales executives, so the art of the deal is the only thing that matters - delivery and technical expertise are a distant afterthought. Get some technical leadership on the consulting, delivery and senior leadership levels or continue your long, slow slide to irrelevancy.
