    Pros

    Excelent company. A lot of businesses working under their support. Very professional in all of their procedures and work environments. Good people and with excelent skills and professionalism.

    Cons

    Needs rapid adaptation to implemented changes so the can go on with the business flow in real time and can prevent in some occasions the dislikes in some terms of actual clients or potential clients

    Advice to Management

    More precise procedures documentation that includes a step-by-step form and cover all the bases. Keep following the flaws to improve in the business with momentum.

    Pros

    When I was with this company there was solid communication between management and the help desk employees. I was given a company cell phone to track ticket status and be more available on the road. Ability to travel to remote site locations was available. Flexible schedule to meet SLA requirements was available. Was not number driven and management was in constant contact to make sure you had the tools you needed, and the performance reviews always were on the bright side to give more training if needed or offered potential promotion routes inside the company when available.

    My wife took a position out of the area and no positions were available in our new city so I had to leave the company. Otherwise, it was a very stable position.

    Cons

    Pay was generally on the lower side. Seems to be the case after reading so many reviews on many different companies. Pay based on the Bureau of Labor and Statistics data for the area where you are employing people and you can have a better chance to keep good, skilled, workers.

    Pros

    I met a few awesome people while working there. Unfortunately my direct management wasn't as great as they thought they were. Delusions of grandeur.

    Cons

    The layoff has somewhat skewed my opinion of CSC/DXC. Unfortunately my direct management wasn't as great as they thought they were. Delusions of grandeur.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs to understand first what they're asking of the staff. "Just implement it" was the worst direction ever.

    Pros

    Great exposure to large Companies and to high end top level jobs.

    Cons

    Lack of rewards for contributions made toward solving complex problems with the client. Long hours and not much chance for advancement. I was there 12 years with only one good raise.

    Advice to Management

    Management stop just considering the bottom line! Reward talent. Adopt and promote a more employee friendly company standard as your mission statement.

    Pros

    Most employees were very dedicated and talented.
    Some coworkers were willing to spend time mentoring less experienced coworkers and sharing their subject matter expertise.
    Benefits were okay to good.

    Cons

    Meaningful communication from upper management was lacking.
    Employees treated as interchangeable.
    Work / life balance was not good.
    Morale was usually low.

    Advice to Management

    They wouldn't take it anyway!
